Abu Dhabi offers the best fishing in the Persian Gulf, where since 2022 fishing has been regulated and commercial fishing is prohibited.

     This fishing 🎣 is more suitable for professionals, as the trip lasts 10–12 hours (with a journey of 60–100 kilometers offshore in one direction).

    • Fishing spots in the proposed waters are less accessible to local anglers and charters.
    • Very few people go to this location or engage in this type of fishing.

The core of fishing in Abu Dhabi is chasing feeding frenzies, where trophy kingfish (king mackerel) and queenfish are caught. When guests start to feel tired, we move to the reefs, where we fish using light jigging with weights of 30–80 grams depending on the current and wind strength.

Fish that can be caught in this area:

    • golden trevally;
    • sheri;
    • cobia;
    • barracuda;
    • grouper;
    • emperor;
    • seabream;
    • kingfish;
    • queenfish.

     These locations are also known for large grouper (locally called hamour), which is successfully caught using live bait.

     During fishing trips with me, we always discuss everything in advance, as the route for the day is planned according to your preferences.

     Important information: we head out to sea at 8:00 AM and return before dark at a time convenient for you.
